1.Different output waveform

Pure sine wave inverters adopt PWM mode for inversion, and some even incorporate multi-step inversion.The output waveform of pure sine wave inverters is consistent with the AC waveform of mains power grid, presenting a smooth sine waveform. Modified sine wave inverters use square wave inversion, with a few incorporating multi-step inversion. This waveform can cause certain interference to the normal operation of electrical equipment, especially for some devices that require high current waveforms (such as sound machine, televisions, etc.).

3.Differences in applicability

Since the output waveform of pure sine wave inverters is closer to the AC waveform of mains grid, it is suitable for various electrical equipment, especially for some devices with higher requirements on current waveform. In addition, pure sine wave inverters are a better choice for applications that require stable operation for a long period of time or require high power quality (e.g. household appliances, hospitals, computer data centers, etc.).
